The Rolleston South Coal Project, wholly owned by Yari Resources (ASX:YAR), is a highly prospective coal exploration venture situated in the world-class Bowen Basin in Queensland. Boasting a 222.9Mt JORC Coal Resource, including 33.7Mt Indicated, with significant upside potential, the project is strategically positioned to capitalise on the region’s rich coal-bearing geology, offering substantial opportunities for resource growth and value creation.
Yari has also entered into a binding conditional agreement to acquire the nearby Arcadia Coal Project, which hosts a reported 282Mt JORC 2012 Mineral Resource. Upon completion, the proposed acquisition would increase Yari’s reported coal resource base to more than 500Mt across two complementary projects in the broader Rolleston coal district.
