The Rolleston South Coal Project, located in Queensland’s world-class Bowen Basin, represents a significant opportunity for Yari Resources. The project contains a 222.9Mt JORC 2012 Coal Resource, comprising 33.7Mt Indicated and 189.2Mt Inferred Resources.
Strategically positioned approximately 40km from the Blackwater rail system, Rolleston South benefits from established infrastructure, favourable regulations and access to major coal export facilities at the Port of Gladstone.
Our goal is to maximise capital efficiency while expanding the resource base and assessing the potential for export-quality thermal coal and semi-soft metallurgical applications. Yari has also entered into a binding conditional agreement to acquire the nearby 282Mt Arcadia Coal Project, which would increase its reported regional resource base to more than 500Mt upon completion.
More information on the proposed Arcadia acquisition can be found in Yari’s ASX announcement dated 3 August 2026.
